We have had a very good year with the girls taking part in various activities for badges such as craft badge, discovering faith and the brownie traditions badge.
We have also held various fund raising activities to raise funds for both the pack and to pass to a school feeding project in Kenya that we support.
We held a sponsored walk and Barbecue during September, together with the Rainbows, to kick off the fundraising in what is our 75th birthday year and Rainbows 25th year. Together with help from the St John’s Academy Caritas candidates we managed to raise £700 which has meant the school could feed all the pupils for over a month.
The girls have also had a very successful “Frozen” themed sleepover, have had a weekend away at Dalguise and attended the pantomime in Perth concert hall.
These activities were subsidised by the pack to ensure that all the girls who wanted to could take part.
We are now looking forward to the beetle drive and birthday barbecue, together with another sleepover with a Hawaiian theme and are anticipating continuing within the parish community for many years to come
